We offer flexible cancellation up to 30 days before check-in for a full refund. Cancellations between 14-30 days receive a 50% refund. Within 14 days of check-in, the reservation is non-refundable. However, we understand life happens. Contact us to discuss your situation.
A refundable security deposit of $500–$1000 is required, with the exact amount based on the length of your stay and the property. The deposit is fully refunded within 7 days after checkout, as long as there are no damages or breaches of house rules.
At this time, payments are made via wire transfer or bank transfer. We require a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, with the remaining balance due one week before check-in.
If the property is available, we'd love to have you stay longer! Contact Mary as soon as possible to check availability and arrange an extension. We offer discounts for extended stays.

Detailed check-in instructions with access codes, gate information, and property location are sent via email 48 hours before arrival. Mary or a property manager can also meet you personally if you prefer guided check-in.
While self-check-in is available for your convenience, Mary or a property manager is happy to meet you personally to welcome you, show you around, and answer any questions. This can be arranged in advance.

Yes! All properties have high-speed fiber optic internet, perfect for streaming, video calls, and remote work. If you experience any connectivity issues, please contact us immediately.
Yes! We offer beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and umbrellas.
All bedrooms have air conditioning. Living areas typically have ceiling fans and are designed for natural cross-ventilation, which is very comfortable in the tropical climate. Additional AC in common areas varies by property.
Most of our properties have private pools. All guests also have access to the stunning Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club pool and facilities. Check individual property listings for specific pool features.
Properties are located within Hacienda Pinilla, a 4,500-acre resort community. The beach club is 5-15 minutes by car depending on the property. Multiple pristine beaches including Playa Avellanas are within a short drive.
A rental car is highly recommended for maximum flexibility to explore beaches, restaurants, and activities. However, golf carts are available for rent within Hacienda Pinilla, and we can arrange private drivers or shuttles for excursions.
Tamarindo is approximately 15-20 minutes by car. It's a vibrant beach town with restaurants, shops, nightlife, and surf schools. Perfect for day trips while enjoying the privacy and luxury of Hacienda Pinilla.
Liberia Airport (LIR) is approximately 1 hour away. If you'd like private transportation arranged, just reach out to Mary for a personalized quote, she'll reply promptly and handle all the coordination. Alternatively, you're welcome to rent a car at the airport; the drive is simple and well-marked with clear signage.
Some properties are pet-friendly! Please inquire about your specific property and any associated pet fees. Pets must be well-behaved, and owners are responsible for any damages.
All properties are non-smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Please dispose of cigarettes properly.
Small gatherings and celebrations are welcome! However, large parties or events require prior approval. We want all guests and neighbors to enjoy a peaceful stay. Maximum occupancy must be respected at all times.
Maximum occupancy varies by property (4-8 guests). This limit is strictly enforced for safety, insurance, and community regulations. Additional guests may be approved with prior notice and additional fees.
Absolutely! Our properties are family-friendly. Please supervise children around pools and balconies. We can provide cribs, high chairs, and beach toys upon request.
